Caravan Awning Size Guide

Caravan awnings come in many different shapes and sizes. But finding the perfect awning for you and your families needn't be difficult.
You'll need to know what type of awning you're looking for as there are different awnings for different types of holidays. So let's first dive in.
The two main types available are:

• Caravan Porch Awning
• Caravan Full Awning

Porch awnings are generally light weight, easy to pitch awnings which attach to the roof line of your caravan providing a sheltered cover. This type of awning comes in various different widths:

• 200 cm, 260 cm, 300 cm, 390 cm, 400 cm

Generally they extend either 250 cm or 300 cm from your caravan.

Full Awnings are attach to your caravan through the awning rail built into the side of your vehicle. They attach through the entire length of the rail and must be the correct size (length) to fit correctly.
They are available in two types:

• All Season Touring Awnings
• Seasonal Pitch Awnings

All season awnings are suitable for short to mid term pitching, like summer holidays and easter breaks.
Lighter in weight, but extremely durable, these awning provide many different features and a large footprint area

Seasonal pitch awnings are designed to be pitched at the start of the camping season (February/March) and left pitched throughout the season (September/October).
With heavy duty fabrics and steel framework, these awaing are design to handle the extended UV exposure and changeable weather conditions.
